New GDPR legislation means that companies that collect personal data across EU borders need to be aware of EU data protection rules.

Following Brexit the UK will be a third-party country as far as the EU is concerned. Under the rules of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), certain conditions need to be met for data transfers out of the EU to be allowed.
