General Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Company website (the “Company Site”) and your relationship with Ready For Brexit Limited (the “Company”, “we” or “us”). Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not register for or use the Company Site. 1 Use of the Company Site
The Company Site is provided to you for your personal use subject to these Terms and Conditions. By accessing the Company Site or any content found on the Company Site, you are entering into an agreement with Ready for Brexit Limited and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2 Amendments
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and at our sole discretion. Any changes will be notified to you via the e-mail address provided by you on registration and/or via a suitable announcement on the Company Site. The changes will apply to the use of the Company Site after we have given notice. If you do not wish to accept the new Terms and Conditions you should not continue to use the Company Site. If you continue to use the Company Site after the date on which the change comes into effect, your use of the Company Site indicates your agreement to be bound by the new Terms and Conditions.
3 Registration
3.1 You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.
3.2 You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details in order that we can communicate with you effectively.
4 Password and security
4.1 When you register to use the Company Site you will be asked to create a password. In order to prevent fraud, you must keep this password confidential and must not disclose it or share it with anyone. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password you should notify us by contacting security@readyforbrexit.co.uk immediately.
4.2 If we have reason to believe that there is likely to be a breach of security or misuse of the Company Site, we may require you to change your password or we may suspend your account.
5 Intellectual property
The contents and design of the Company Site and any material supplied to you in conjunction with the Company Site (such contents and design being collectively referred to as the “Company Content”), is protected by copyright, trade marks, database right and other intellectual property rights. You may not reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the materials or content on the Company Site without our written permission. The software that operates the Company Site is proprietary software and you may not use it except as expressly allowed under these Terms. You may not copy, reverse engineer, modify or otherwise deal with the software.
6 Your use of the Company Site
6.1 You may not use the Company Site for any of the following purposes:
6.1.1 disseminating any unlawful, harassing, libellous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material or otherwise breaching any laws;
6.1.2 transmitting material that encourages conduct that constitutes a criminal offence, results in civil liability or otherwise breaches any applicable laws, regulations or code of practice;
6.1.3 interfering with any other person’s use or enjoyment of the Company Site; or
6.1.4 making, transmitting or storing electronic copies of materials protected by copyright without the permission of the owner.
6.2 While we do not control the information/materials posted to by users onto any comments capability, discussion groups and public areas or other features on the Company Site allowing users to interact between themselves or feedback to representatives of Ready for Brexit Limited, we reserve the right (which we may exercise at our sole discretion without notice) to delete, move or edit the Messages and to terminate your access to and use of the Company Site.
6.3 You will be responsible for our losses and costs resulting from your breach of this clause 6.
6.4 By submitting material on the Company Site, you are granting us a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to reproduce, modify, translate, make available, distribute and sublicense the material in whole or in part and in any form.
7 Availability of the Company Site
7.1 Although we aim to offer you the best service possible, we make no promise that the services offered on the Company Site will meet your requirements. We cannot guarantee that the service will be fault-free. If a fault occurs in the service you should report it to support@readyforbrexit.co.uk and we will attempt to correct the fault as soon as we reasonably can.
7.2 Your access to the Company Site may be occasionally restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to restore the service as soon as we reasonably can.
8 The Company’s right to suspend or cancel your registration
8.1 We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately and/or use of all or part of the Company Site at our reasonable discretion by written notice at any time. The Company may also consider that you are not eligible to register again with the Company Site in the future.
8.2 You can cancel your registration at any time by informing us in writing at admin@readyforbrexit.co.uk . If you do so, you must stop using the Company Site.
8.3 The suspension or cancellation of your registration and your right to use the Company Site shall not affect either party’s statutory rights or liabilities.
9 The Company’s liability
9.1 The information contained in the Company Site is for general information purposes only. The information is provided by Ready for Brexit Limited and while we endeavour to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.
9.2 In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website.
9.3 Through this website you are able to link to other websites which are not under our control. We have no control over the nature, content and availability of those sites. The inclusion of any links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them.
10 Advertising and Sponsorship
Part of the Company Site may contain advertising and sponsorship. Advertisers and sponsors are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the Company Site complies with relevant laws and codes. We will not be responsible to you for any error or inaccuracy in advertising and sponsorship material, nor for the availability of any content referred to in such advertisements or sponsorships
11 Applicable Law
These terms and conditions will be subject to the laws of England and Wales. The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of, under, or in connection with these Terms.
12 International Use
We make no promise that materials on the Company Site are appropriate or available for use in locations outside the United Kingdom, and accessing the Company Site from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful is prohibited. If you choose to access the Company Site from locations outside the United Kingdom, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
13 Miscellaneous
13.1 If you breach these Terms and Conditions and the Company chooses to ignore this, the Company will still be entitled to use its rights and remedies at a later date or in any other situation where you breach the Terms and Conditions.
13.2 The Company shall not be responsible for any breach of these Terms and Conditions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to failure of electronic or mechanical equipment or communication lines, telephone or other interconnect problems, computer viruses, unauthorised access, theft, operator errors, severe weather, earthquakes or natural disasters, strikes or other labour problems, wars, or governmental restrictions.
